I haven't seen the other moderators and admins here lately. I haven't received responses to my PM's. Are you guys still here or are we running on autopilot?

I'm keeping up with the spam as best I can but all phpBB boards are being inundated. Apparently there's nothing better to do in Russia. They do finally seem to be slowing down.

It looks like I'm the only moderator checking in daily here. The site administrator hasn't signed in for weeks. Anyone heard from him recently? I'm getting worried. I'd offer to promote tgidday to moderator if I could modify his privileges. I've lost count of how many dozens of spam messages I've deleted today. I'm blocking entire Class C IP address blocks used by spammers in East Carjackistan and what not to little effect. I swear, if I ever meet one of these spammers I'm liable to go medieval on them...

Sorry, just getting frustrated here. I'm getting sick of cleaning up after the spammers but I don't want to let the bastards win.

Congrats on the work you do around here 8)

Not a good sign when the top mods no longer are available

hello. yea series of unlucky coincidences been coming along my way. recently it has been search for new job (and on the side the preps etc to move to another house) has hosed my hours and days, weeks etc etc. they are still in process, but i will move on to re-allocate times and efforts etc. argh, recession is such a burden.

i would like to specially thank to those who have been helpful; brian, other mods and thankful/helpful members. we do actually have a scheduled big maintenance coming soon (im guessing mid month) where I will move over the forum to different server and during the process will update/change some forum elements.

rank promotion etc can surely be arranged. my plan involves resetting the permisision levels and accesses as well (ofc as well as spam control measures). and hopefully even introduce other models / regroup and join topics etc. i will keep you posted on schedule on following days.

so yea, no worries, i am still alive : ) just slowly beating these days.

Thank you all... =)

ps. brian got your msg on facebook as well. nice seeing you again.

Hooray! He's back! :D

I hear you about the job situation. Awful mess out there. I've got to get in gear and find a job myself. Hang in there, sooner or later they've got to hire someone to do the work.

It's pretty quiet these days but I still check in daily. This is still one of the better places to get info on the old zd7000, zd8000 and zv5000/R3000 machines. I had a zv5000z, I defer to others for most zd7000/zd8000 series questions.

I can't help notice that there are alot of posts that haven't even had 1 reply yet, even a suggestion.... quite shocking really.

How many people are active Mods or Admins....?

I emailed Kaze asking for the person to contact but haven't had a response to see about becoming a Mod.

I think I qualify just a TAD to be one...lol

I think I'm the only moderator who still checks in. The site administrator is busy with work/life, so for the most part the site runs on autopilot. I don't think I have access to promote people to moderator.

I pay a visit every great once in awhile, but to be honest now that I am 100% Mac and sold my zd7000 some two or three years ago, there really is little for me to offer the community as a member, much less as a moderator.

If one of the admins wants to kick my permissions back down to normal user, I certainly won't mind.

I didn't realize that you are a moderator too. (It isn't obvious without looking at someone's profile?) By all means keep stopping by, I have no experience with the zd7000 and zd8000 lines. I sold my zv5000z a few years ago too.
