1) Consoles have one set price, with few components that can be upgraded. On the PC, you have a broad range of often confusing price options everywhere you look.

2) Consoles are easy for any person to use: you just plug and play. PC's require you to be a bit more knowledgeable.

3) Controls play a crucial role in the separation of PC from Console. People will argue for days on end over keyboard/mouse versus controller gameplay.

4) One problem with console games is that titles are exclusive to a system, so which titles you can play are limited by which system you own. One problem with PC games is that you can only buy them new. The CD Keys used to prove authenticity help restrict games to being installed on only one or two computers.

I like both also. However, PC gaming is still king. Console gaming as far as graphics and such goes, is where PC gaming was 2 years ago.

Plus its all about titles. Ultimately titles and gameplay dictate popularity.
