If your notebook has an Ultra Brightview display it has two lamps, otherwise only one. See if you can find the specs for your notebook?

its a long story but thanks to HP i received and installed a new full lcd assymbly (under waranty).

which fixed the little crack in the plastic i wanted to fix

but it also fixed
the loose hinge (lets call the the hinge from hell "HFH")
and strangly the mic works great now (it was really faint in the past), i had accepted it since the net seemed full of faint mic stories.....

so have hp fixed the HFH issue or can i expect it to return in a year or 2? (the replacement didnt really look redesigned)
