 Post subject: My Hp g60 laptop battery is not working

Purchase Date: 19 Dec 1988
a serious problem occured with my new HP g60 notebook pc. i cant charge it or even it cant hold it works, i tested my HP g60 charger and HP g60 ac adapter to another G60 laptop, these things were ok.. so what happened to my battery. my warranty period is not over yet, so will i tell the shop to change the battery?
